Our Chocolate sponge cake kit will make two 7 inch cakes.
The kit contains:
- 400g Chocolate genoese sponge cake mix
- 400g Ready to pipe frosting
- 2 x 7"parchment discs
- Wooden testing stick
- Instructions for baking and decorating your cake
Equipment needed: a small measuring jug, a mixing bowl, wooden spoon or electric mixer, and a cupcake tin.
Chocolate sponge cake ingredients: sugar, WHEAT flour, (with calcium, iron, niacin, thiamine), fat reduced cocoa powder 8%, emulsifiers (E477, E435, E471, E475), dried EGG white, EGG yolk powder, raising agents (disodium diphosphate, sodium bicarbonate), whey solids (MILK), modified starch (WHEAT), dextrose, salt, vegetable oil (rapeseed),
stabilisers (sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, guar gum, xanthan gum), natural flavouring. May contain traces of soya.
Chocolate frosting ingredients: Sugar, vegetable oils (palm, rapeseed), water, fat reduced cocoa powder: 5% humectant (sorbitol), emulsifier (sunflower lecithin, E435), salt, acid (citric acid), preservative (potassium sorbate), natural flavouring. May contain traces of wheat gluten, milk and egg.
