Where do I find the ASDA photo cake kiosk in store?
The kiosk is located in the Celebration Cake aisle near the bakery.
How does ASDA Photo Cake work?
- At the kiosk, upload a photo from your phone, usb stick or scan a printed photo. If you don't have a photo, choose one of the designs that are ready to go.
- Select a frame for your photo (optional)
- Add a personal message - you can change the font, colour and outline to suit your design
- Finish your order - a receipt will be printed with the order number
- Select a cake from beside the kiosk and bring it to the bakery counter where a colleague will print your order and put it on the cake while you wait.
How long does it take to make a photo cake at ASDA?
Designing your cake can take just 2 minutes. The cake topper is printed and put on your cake while you wait - it usually takes about 10–15 minutes .
Do I need to pre-order an ASDA photo cake?
No – just design at the kiosk and your cake will be printed in-store while you wait. Pay at the check out with the rest of your shopping. You can create a design in advance, however the cake will only be printed and prepared when you return with your receipt.
What flavours are available for the ASDA photo cake?
- Vanilla sponge with raspberry jam and buttercream
- Chocolate sponge with chocolate buttercream
What sizes is the ASDA photo cake?
- Small (22–24 servings): 24 × 16cm
- Large (40 servings): 34 × 21cm (raspberry only)

Please use only images that are appropriate, lawful, and do not infringe copyright. You must have the right to reproduce the image. Bakery colleagues may decline to print images that don’t meet these guidelines.
We offer a selection of officially licensed designs. These include a printed copyright line on your receipt, confirming they are cleared for use.
Can I buy just the cake topper?
No. ASDA sells the cake and topper as a single product. If you want just a topper, use our online cake topper service.
